This vintage painting features a beautiful floral bouquet in a vase, painted in reverse on glass with foil tinsel incorporated into design. The background is all black with flowers in yellow, purple, red, and blue. The leaves are in green. You can see hints of the silver tone tinsel peeking through. The piece is signed by the artist, Virginia A. Allen, and dated 1961. It is framed in a wood gold and white colored frame. Please note that the frame itself does show signs of some areas of distressing where paint appears to be coming off and some nicks in the wood. Please see the photos. The back of the frame on the paper backing there is holes in the paper. In addition, some of the hardwear what appears like little nails are popping up over the back paper, as shown in the photos. Otherwise, it's in good condition. From a smoke-free environment.
