Vintage book examining the wide variety of tools and crafted items used by ancient man. Archaeology / ancient history / engineering / natural science book. Price clipped jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with moderate rubbing/scuffing to faces and heavy wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and tears. Boards straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding material faintly visible in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Previous owner’s personal stamp to outer edge of text block and title page, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos.
