A founding member of Sonic Youth, Kim Gordon — ‘the godmother of grunge’ — was a countercultural icon of music and attitude in the 80s and 90s. When she and Daisy von Furth launched X-Girl in 1994, they started a rebellion against mainstream clothing and paved the way for a new kind of girls’ clothing. Our new 1461 shoes are made with the same rebellious spirit. Set on a double-height Bex platform, the shoes are built from two-tone black and green leather and tagged with branded laces and a gunmetal dog tag. The platform shoes are finished with a dual-branded sock liner and bespoke X-Girl packaging.
