This is a very rare, mint condition 1996 promotional poster for "Books of Faerie" mini series based off of Neil Gaiman's Sandman universe Vertigo comics. I worked comic book retail in the mid to late 90's and in charge of order comics for this store and as I was a HUGE Neil Gaiman/Sandman fan so I kept one of these posters for myself hoping to frame it at some point. That time never game and it's been living with all the other posters I promised to myself I'd frame but never did.
This poster is mint apart from it coming pre-folded. No rips or tears. Color is gorgeous. This is an authentic promo poster from 1996. This is NOT a copy or reproduction or bootleg. Pardon the glare from my photography light which created hot spots on the poster. Those are not there on the item. It's just the lighting.
I want this to find a loving home that will cherish it. Maybe frame it like I never did. Maybe get Neil's autograph on it.
Poster is about 18"x22" in size. It's gorgeous.
