This is a very interesting Basket looks to be extremely Old Bedouin made top of lid and bottom of basket look to be lizard skin and the basket is interwoven with what looks like snake skin,if you look close at the pictures you can see skin pattern,there is some damage at the top where the lid sits ,still a very intact piece of history ! Thanks for looking all questions answered promptly. I purchased this Basket at an estate sale in southwest Colorado.Selling as is No Returns .
