I'm offering for sale a Gorgeous Wheaton Village Handblown Flower in Pot w/Controlled Bubbles Glass Paperweight. This paperweight was probably made in the 1970's or thereabouts. It's not signed by the glass artist but Wheaton Village impressed on the bottom. Wheaton Village was begun in the 1960's to create a place where artistic license was welcomed & allowed to flourish in whichever way it wished. We need more places like this! I believe Wheaton is still around but called Wheaton Arts, and encompasses many art forms. The colors are luscious in this bloom w/splashes of dark orange & black on white canvas of petals, a flower that sits atop a black pot, w/a spray of controlled bubbles all about it. The weight is approx. 3 tall x approx. 3 1/2 wide. While carefully inspecting it I found a rub mark that's approx. 1/2 long (last photo). I may have missed something else, not sure. If you decide to purchase, please be advised I don't accept returns. AMH In Bedroom Closet?
