These sweatpants are made with thick cotton fleece, making them suitable for both casual and formal occasions. The best way to utilize the features of a circular knitting machine is to use fleece. Using a special needle called a hera needle that is fixed to the machine, the yarn is knitted slowly and without excessive tension, one course at a time. After knitting, the fabric is not forcibly rolled up, but is left to hang down due to its weight. Additionally, by loosening the tension of the middle yarn, a fluffy and voluminous fabric can be knitted. Another feature of circular knitting machines is their high degree of setting freedom. While they can knit fluffy fabrics, they can also create fabrics with tightly packed stitches. This fabric is a fleece that has been knitted with the maximum possible stitch density for a circular knitting machine. It has a tightly packed, almost workwear-like toughness, and provides a firm silhouette when worn. However, it also retains the fluffiness and flexibility of circular knitting.
Furthermore, all the yarns used for the face, middle, and back are made from extra-long staple cotton. The yarn used is 30-count organic Pima cotton compact yarn. Typically, sweatshirt fabrics, including circular fleece, use 30-count yarn for the face and middle, and 7-10 count yarn for the back. These counts usually use upland cotton, which is a medium-staple fiber. Most of these are card yarn or open-end yarn, and if you use combed yarn for the face, it's considered quite high quality. However, such yarns tend to be prone to fuzzing and pilling due to the short length of the fibers (although this can be considered a charm for American casual wear...). This fabric, made with extra-long staple compact yarn, has less fuzzing and pilling, and its luster lasts longer.
