Gorgeous vintage 50s 60s Barbizon long black slip dress gown with embroidered flowers and floral lace. Tagged size 18 Miss (vintage) but listing as a M because of size. A tight fit on my model which is al/xl so probably medium.Gathered pleated under cups to give shape and fit, no cup size. Tailored goth slip.Beautiful bottom floral lace slip.Adjustable straps and color is a little lighter than dress.Wear to a dance, party, on a date or special event or formal occasion.From my research Barbizon was established in 1933 as a maker of woman’s lingerie Later in 1991 became Vanity Fair What was special about Barbizon is they made their own high quality fabric which they turned into their specialized woman’s lingerie which they gave romantic names which were trademarked Crepe Remarque was trademarked in 1954 This slip material has that name. Label is shown to be used in 50s 60s True quality vintage slip. Material is a nice feel. Wrinkles are from storage. I don’t think this would wrinkle much once washed, hung.
