1950's Authentic Vintage 2 Rustic Framed Poché French Tile (made in Japan) Paintings Mid-Century Art

Vintage, authentic, set of 2 professionally framed tile paintings. This pair of 2 paintings capture the beauty of French local cafes, & traditional city architecture. These pieces are very reminiscent of mid-century modern artist, Duze.

Both scenes are rendered in a unique and striking expressionist style on white tiles. Both of the tiles have the word Poché incorporated. Poché is a French architectural term that is commonly used to refer to French/Paris street scenes aesthetics.

The frames, which are the originals, are solid though worn, are made of solid wood & painted in a rustic, French style. Backsides once had paper coverings, but looks like they were removed, exposing the markings Moss Tile made in Japan and they have metal universal hardware for hanging. With frames, each measures 9.63 x 9.63 . Artwork alone - 5.5 x 5.5 .
