Vintage Serengeti sunglasses *rare*

Vintage Serengeti 5286 sunglasses feature a high performance graphite aviator frame coated with gleaming white enamel, but the other stars of the show are the rare Serengeti 7000 SS Vermilion rose double gradient mirror lenses made by Corning Optics of Corning Glass fame. Rare Serengeti graphite frames were made with aerospace carbon fiber technology to be super strong and lightweight. The equally rare Serengeti Vermilion lenses made by Corning effectively block all forms of glare, and built in "Spectral Control" filters sharpen images for extraordinary visibility and eye comfort in all daylight weather conditions and extra high contrast in low, flat light, haze, rain, or snow. The unisex Serengeti 5286 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Serengeti 7000SS Vermilion lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. You'll find the Serengeti logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is Serengeti Eyewear while the other stems is marked Corning Optics and one ear pad is impressed 5286J while the other pad is impressed Frame Japan.
