this is a really cool and unique bag. It's pretty large so can be used as a tote. It is very functional! It has detachable shoulder strap with really sturdy handles. comes with a hidden key so the purse can be locked. How cool is that?? Genuine Ostrich leather is in good condition. bottom is very sturdy but empty the bag doesn't sit up on its own because of the metal bar on top.the gold finish has worn off in some places but overall this handbag which I do believe is vintage is in great condition. Corners have tiny tiny minor rubs.Borse in Pele made in Italy!the black bottom measures 13.5" but the overall length of the purse is approximately 16" because the sides stick out a bit. it's 16" from top of strap down (drop) and from the top of purse is about 10" with would be the depth. the width of the bottom is about 6"approx measurements of purse itself is 16 x 10 x 6
