About the Artist:
During the month of October in 1979, Don Sternloff traveled and painted in Greece, spending most of his time on the island of Crete. The picturesque ways of life within the Greek villages and around the harbors present a painter with an abundance of artistic interpretations. Since his return, he has put down
on paper and canvas his vivid impressions of the island villages harbors and mountains which are so captivative in Greece. Sharp contrasts of color. Born in Massachusetts, the son of Robert Sternloff, a painter and illustrator, he studied at the Hartford School of Fine Art and the Art Students League in New York. Retiring from a successful advertising art career.
