The only new additions are on the copyright page and the bottom of the rear flap (FEL). First Edition Library facsimiles have the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish, and texture as the originals. The unread book is tight with solid hinges, sharp tips, and clean unmarred boards. Textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate, or markings and not BCE, ex-library, or remaindered. The dust jacket has its original price and is Fine. The slipcase is fine. Includes Notes about the book including issue points.

Main Street , satirizes American small-town life. The story follows Carol Milford, a young woman who marries a doctor and moves to midwest town. Carol soon becomes disillusioned with the town’s provincialism and lack of culture. Lewis explores cultural clashes, societal expectations, and the struggles for individuality in the face of conformity.
