This is a most fashionable vintage black straw wide brim hat which consists of a round crown surrounded by an upturned, semi folded and slanted brim, so part of the crown shows at one side. The brim is edged in fabric. The crown is surrounded by a black fabric band, which ends at one side in a large double bow made of fabric and crin (Crin, also known as crinoline or horsehair, is a net-like material, easy to mold and is often used in the decoration of clothing, hats and accessories). From these bows there are two beautiful mustard colored marabou feather puffs.
