This is a most unusual small hat made of 3 circles of rust colored felt bands. The 3 circles are topstitched beautifully and are places strategically so that there is one circle at each side, and one at the back of the headpiece. The hat is further adorned with metal studs and a pearl-like button at the center of each circle, as photographed. There are two felt bows attached to the side circles. A rare fashionable look!Women’s 1930s hats were small and simple in decoration, yet their shaping was a work of art. Folded, molded, and angled felt made hats look like something out of a Picasso painting.There is no designer label, indicating it was a custom-made creation.This is an authentic piece of fashion history! This hat is in wonderful vintage condition & has been lovingly preserved among over 1300 vintage hats we have collected for 40+ years. Feathers, straw, flowers & veils are fragile, given their age.
