What a stunning fashion creation from the 1930s'. The hat consists of a round crown trimmed with several creatively & intricately folded sections of grosgrain fabric in coordinating colors of rust, beige and brown. From the top of the front brown section of grosgrain trim there is a beautiful long pheasant feather to complete the look. At the back there its a brown grosgrain strap attached to the inside, so the hat can be worn in a tilted position.Tilt hats were popular in the 1930s and 1940s. They were worn at an angle and held to the back of the head by a strap, rigid ring, elastic band beneath the hair, or a combination of these.
