Vintage Stewart Brothers Lineman's Telephone Tester Box corca 1915

This Vintage Stewart Brothers Lineman's Telephone Tester Box is a beautiful relic of a now bygone era. This once very important lineman’s tool was used in the field to test telephone lines when installing them in homes all throughout America. A wonderfully constructed oak box remains as attractive as it was when it was first put into use by the Stewart Brothers back in 1915. The wood is still in great shape and the leather strap and covering too have remained in excellent condition despite some expected wear here and there due to age. I have not tested the box, in order to preserve it just as it is, however, the technology is simple and could be repaired if it needed to be quite easily for cheap and without too much effort.
A rare piece of electronic history and outdated technology over a hundred years old will not be found more beautiful or cooler than this piece here.
