VTG 1980's Alexis Kirk 2-tone metal medallion design Buckle & 1" wide belt

Here is a beige color leather Alexis Kirk 1 inch wide belt and dramatic medallion style gold and silver tone metal belt buckle. The buckle is 4.75 inches by 2.5 inches in size. For all of those women who recognize the name "Alexis Kirk" you know the quality of the belts he designed. This belt and buckle are from the early 1980's and it has been very lightly worn.As you can see, the leather belt is in excellent condition and the metal buckle portion is shiny without any darkened or scratched areas. This is the type of belt buckle that has loops in the back side to slide in various 1 inch wide belts. In the photos that show the back of the buckles those loops are visible. Of course part of the appeal of these belts is that you can easily swap out any 1 inch size belt for a different color with the same belt buckle.Once you have the belt in place you adjust it to your waist size by moving the slide pieces to exactly fit either your waist or lower on the hip if that is how you want to wear it that day.Both the buckle and the belt are signed with the authentic Alexis Kirk logo. On the reverse side of the belt the Alexis Kirk gold embossed logo and copyright symbol are still totally intact. Both sides of the buckle have the Alexis Kirk script logo and copyright symbol.As usual for this style with removable belts, the larger side of the buckle has a hook on the back and an opening into which the belt fits. On the smaller side the hook slides to hold the belt in place.
