Handmade in Berkeley, CA in the 1970's. Rare piece of California history.
White Duck Workshop was a boutique in Berkeley, California that sold handmade clothing for women. Known for colorful natural fabrics and one-of-a-kind patchwork and applique creations, their pieces have been featured in exhibits at the Oakland Museum of California and the de Young Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.
Good vintage condition. Some areas of minor fading and discoloration around flower patchwork detailing on front (see last photos). Hidden back zipper. Short sleeves and square neckline. No fabric or size tags, but this dress fits up to a women’s small.
