Sharif Couture haircalf and leather weekender satchel, VGUC

The Sharif brand is a luxury handbag and accessories label that was founded by Sharif and his wife, BiBi in 1994.Sharif moved to New York City in 1974 where he took a job with the exotic handbag company Finesse, before moving on to join the legendary Morris Moskowitz.After absorbing everything he could while working for these handbag giants, Sharif founded his own company, Sharif Designs, Ltd in 1979, which he built into the largest American handbag manufacturer by the late 1980s.This designer bag has soft haircalf and quality brown leather. The interior is blue suede!There is a leather piece on the front with beautiful hand painted artwork. There is a large exterior zip pocket. Inside there’s a zip pocket and 2 slip pockets. There is also a mirror inside! It still has the plastic film on it. The nameplate on the inside also still has the film on it.Callouts:There is some rubbing on the bottom. It’s pretty minor. There are some places where the edging is coming off where the straps attach to the brass rings. One of the rings has some black on it. I assume it’s the bit of edging that came off of the leather. I didn’t see these issues until I inspected the bag for callouts. I showed a closeup of the worst one.There is a closeup of two places where the fur is rubbed thin in two places. There is also a little rubbing on the edge leather next to one of those spots.
