Bilston & Battersea Halcyon Days Enamels Christmas 1978 Enamel Box, Wonderful miniature trinket box by Halcyon Days Enamels Titled The Christmas Visitors. The box depicts a snow-covered townhouse with a streetlight nearby, a family bringing gifts to the door, a woman is inviting them in. Halcyon Days set out to revive the eighteenth-century English craft of enameling over copper to produce lovely little boxes originally used for beauty patches, snuff, or candies. This Christmas keepsake box was the 1978 limited edition for said year. Maker: Halcyon Days England, Bliston Battersea Revival, Dimensions:2ʺD × 1ʺH This will make a fine addition to any vintage Bilston enamel box collection. Made in England. It comes in the original box with a certificate of authenticity pamphlet. In beautiful.The condition is very good. It does have a tiny fleabite chip in the enamel.Please see the photos. It's hard to see but there.
