In the YST method, the internal woofer unit is driven by a negative resistance circuit using a low-sound reproduction technology that applies the Helmholtz resonance principle, and small amplitude inside the enclosure is extracted from the port as large amplitude sound pressure.
In the advanced YST method, the linearity at the maximum sound pressure is improved by changing the negative resistance circuit to a variable type while maintaining the characteristics of the YST method. The unit uses a 20 cm cone type woofer. MDF material is used for the enclosure and the baffle thickness is 18 mm. Equipped with continuously variable high-cut frequency and auto standby function.
