Antique 1910 S/M Filmer Fur & Leather Full Horse Hair Coat Toggle Closure Amazing find! This full length curly horse hair coat manufactured in Gloversville NY by Filmer Fur & Leather was doing business in 1910. This antique coat is in near pristine condition. The only sign of wear is at the very edge of sleeve cuffs. A very natural place to expect wear. Knit inner cuffs for warmth still intact and in great condition. Lining is also in incredibly good condition. Toggles as closure are all in good shape and can be used from either right or left side. This makes one wonder if this is a unisex coat. This piece weighs a full 10 pounds! I have never seen anything like it!
