"Butterflies and Vines" is a trio of very unique one of a kind paintings that encompassed three steps in their creation. The first step in the design of these paintings was one fluid art technique that was applied on the three canvas's as part of the background. Then another technique was added on top to create the flowers. After the paint dried, the butterflies and vines were hand painted on top. We made a print of the beautiful butterfly on photo paper and added it to a ceramic 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" tile. Two coats of high gloss resin epoxy are added to the top of the photo to protect it and give it a high gloss shine. We added this coaster to a 8" x 8" white wood frame to accentuate thebeauty of the flower and the butterfly.This reminds of me of the butterfly rainforest in Gainesville, Florida that I visited with my mother, who loves butterflies as much as I do. What a wonderful place to just sit and watch so many variety's of butterflies fly around and land on the beautiful flowers and plants.
