This is a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" ceramic tile that has been painted with a acrylic fluid art technique to make a colorful background. Metallic teal, metallic silver, metallic gold and bright red make an interesting array of cells and swirls.A white horse has been hand painted over the background giving this coaster a nice contrast. Two coats of high gloss epoxy resin are added to the top of the photo to protect it and give it a great shine. We have framed this coaster in a 8" x 8" white wooden shadow box frame to really set it off. Perfect gift for the horse lover in your life, or a gift for an anniversary or wedding. A nice addition to a small space that needs something but there's not a lot of room. Or hang it with a few framed pictures to make a nice wall collage.(Some slight imperfections may occur in the resin but it doesn't take away from the beauty of the tile. This is normal due to the nature of the creative process. I do my best to avoid small bubbles/holes, a tiny bit of fuzz, the nature of epoxy resin means this is unavoidable.
