1960's Murano Medium Sommerso Teal/Gold/Clear Low Bowl/Trinket Dish Handblown. Heart shaped. There are some blemishes on the bottom of the bowl that appear to be from tools from when it was made not scratches. Last two photos were the best I could get of the blemishes.

Sommerso means submerged in Italian. It is a form of artistic Murano glass that has layers of contrasting colors, typically two, which are formed by dipping the object in molten glass. First developed in the late 1930's and made popular by Seguso d'Arte in the 1950's. This piece is done in 2 colors teal and gold. Beautiful piece for display or for jewelry or trinkets. BA2
