A delightful reminder of days gone by, this vintage electric train by Louis Marx Co is a perfect addition to any railroader's collection. Manufactured in the 1940s, this steel-based train was built to last the test of time. The set consists of:
Engine
3 Cars (Nickel Plate Road Coal Car, Wabash Open Cargo Car, Merchandise Service Pennsylvania Sliding Door Cargo Car)
Caboose (Nickel Plate High Speed Service/Nickel Plate Road 956)

AC Transformer

Best of all, this train set still runs. The engine's electrical contact with the track sparks dramatically as the train races around the track, and the direction of the train can be reversed by powering down the transformer and then turning it back up.
