This vintage sage Vera Wang bridesmaid dress was made before the days of affordable Vera Wang.The scalloped hem bespeaks its exclusiveness. The firmness, but yet flexibility of the scallop plates display superior sewing skills. The hem has ten large scallops. Scalloping is a sewing technique where series of convex curves are made at the hem that looks like scallop shells when repeated.This strapless bridesmaid/cocktail dress features two interior loops on the framed bustier for attaching a bejeweled or pearlized halter accessory that could be attached to the loop for support. After the wedding the bejeweled strap is usually turned into a necklace. The loop is shown in image #9.Zip closure in back.
