Waterman Olive Ripple IDEAL 952V Woodgrain Fountain Pen– Olive ripple wood grain hard rubber– Excellent working condition Vintage Waterman IDEAL 952v fountain pen – Up here is a vintage Waterman IDEAL #952V olive ripple woodgrain hard rubber fountain pen, which was manufactured in USA circa 1910s.This Waterman olive ripple is a fine example, in excellent olive ripple (woodgrain) hard rubber with gold filled trim.The ripple is a pattern that was exclusive to Waterman’s during the Golden Age; and there is no discoloration on the ripple color of the pen.The pen is in nice condition. There is no scretches, cracks, dings and dents all over the body, only some minor wears due to age.The model #952V is engraved at the end of the barrel. There are also some imprints on the barrel and barrel end.The pocket clip and lever bar bear the ‘IDEAL’ globe logo, which is crisp and stunning.The pen is fitted with a large Waterman’s #2 14ct solid gold nib, semi-flexible writing smooth medium line.A new sac has been fitted. The lever filling system of the pen is in perfect working order.It is really rare and highly sought after Waterman Ripple, considering its age (almost 100 years) and in this excellent condition.The pen has been serviced and tested for full functionality.
