Vintage Deep Sea Coral Choker Necklace.Also known as Midway Misu Coral.This is an Excellent example of Deep Sea coral in a rare white color.It is marked JAPAN.Circa the late 1940s to early 1950s; estimate.This romantic necklace has a coral cabochon clasp. The necklace is hand knotted, graduated and in original condition.There are some visible lines in the beads which are not cracks, but a normal feature of this type of coral.Please note that each bead is unique, handmade, and a natural material; and as such will have tiny differences in shape.Fabulous gift.Brand;Vintage.Jewelry Mark;JAPAN; on the side of the clasp.Gemstone;deep sea coral.Metal;brass.Length; 16 1/2" long;the size of these beads will make this necklace fit very close to the throat like a choker.Width; 5mm to 13mm.Condition;Very good vintage condition.This pre owned piece will show signs of use and age.It is in its original hand knotted condition;someday it may require re-knotting.Clasp is in working order.Age;1946-1954; per my research.Shipping; 1-2 business days.
