Blue Star Sapphire French Lever-Back Pierced Earrings

These delicate, yet well made earrings are the perfect choice to wear everyday. The standout feature are the natural Blue Star Sapphires. Both have the wonderful asterism effect made by internal rutile, needle-like inclusions that act as mirrors reflecting to create this natural phenomena. Each 5mm Sapphire rests in it's own basket mounting with 4 prongs securely keeping them in place. Instead of keeping them stationary, a tiny ring has been added to suspend each Sapphire in its basket to the 14K French lever-backs. This allows a little bit of movement which draws attention to this little dance on your ear! You can see in the last photo how they hang on an average ear. Well...they are hanging on my 65 year old ear, so I am certain when you have them on, they will be much more perky! The spring closures work perfectly and close with a secure "snap". I just had these cleaned but will clean them again since I just tried them on. I will include a box nice enough for gift giving.
