The opal is of good size and has pear cabochon cut (weight 4.47Ct, size 14.90 x 10.50 x 6.56mm, origin Ethiopia). The stone has a amazing play of color in a mostly yellow with unique "tiger stripes" pattern. The dangling part is attached to the ring.
