Rare L.L. Bean Vintage Panniers

Rare LL Bean Vintage Panniers2 Royal Blue Panniers from mid 1990’sIn my never ending attempt to downsize……..We were going through some items in storage.Holy Moly what a find! I used these Panniers a few few times in the 1990’s to bike and buy groceries and have stored them ever since.Totally forgot about them and now we live 15 miles from a grocery store, so will never have a need for them in retirement. They are in awesome condition considering their age. The last 2 pictures show a small tear on one corner along with small scratches on the top cover and some stains on the bottom of one of the panniers.Also one of the bungees is missing. Surprisingly for the 1990’s the internal tag says Made in Taiwan.Both bags have a drainage hole on the bottom in case they get wet (it worked great to clean them too). Velcro is in excellent condition. Handles all in excellent condition. Very heavy duty fabric material and solid craftsmanship.Tubular metal bars lend support to full structure. L.L. Bean has always had such good quality and that is why even the vintage items sell so well on . 14” tall when folded flatI searched the internet to find ANY L.L.Bean Panniers and found none.
