This is a pair of 1940s German Navy herringbone cotton trousers. While linen versions are occasionally seen, cotton trousers are rarely encountered. These were sold by the renowned store AWASE in Tokyo.
They are commonly known as Kreigsmarine (German Navy) Drilichhose, equivalent to the French Bousjon (or Bourgeon ). These were workwear for the navy, featuring a rugged yet elegant silhouette.
Due to their age, there are some minor stains. However, they do not hinder wearability and possess a charming overall atmosphere. Please refer to the photos for the condition. There is a tear on the upper part of the buttocks (suspender button area), but it does not affect wearability.
For detailed information about this item, please refer to the blogs of the renowned stores digupper in Osaka and militaria in Tokyo.
They look stylish when worn with suspenders and rolled up. Perfect for the upcoming season.
I am selling them due to financial constraints. The price is lower than the market value.
