Antique Emerald Cut Garnet Ring, 14K Gold Engraved Claw Setting, Victorian

Decadent antique garnet ring, with a very unique claw setting. Solid 14K gold, engraved with leaves. The stone is a deep, blood red that flashes scarlet. Very dramatic presence on the finger, with good coverage. Measurements pictured. Inside band is marked (it is dark and hard to read on photos, but it does say 14K) and currently fits an approximate size 4. Easily resized by a professional jeweler. In very good antique condition with no major chips or breaks, damage, etc. There are a few minuscule flea bites on the face of the garnet, as pictured. Not noticeable when worn, and do not detract from the overall appearance of the ring. Box seen in photos is not included, used for pictures only.
