This rare Set of 4 Vintage Full-Color Poster Prints (possibly pigment or Giclée prints) are from a portfolio distributed by Franklin Watts Inc. in the 1960s. They feature images from three books illustrated by the artist: The Lion and the Rat (1963), The North Wind and the Sun (1964), and The Hare and the Tortoise (1966). SIZE: Each measures 19.5” x 12 3/4. Ready to be framed!CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Each of these high-quality poster prints is still clean, colorful and vibrant. There are some signs of age and use. Each has a staple mark in the bottom right corner and one has a tiny rip—both pictured—but these are outside the area that would show were the posters matted and/or framed. Each does also have a minor crease that would be even less evident if framed under glass. They will be shipped rolled.About the Artist:Brian Wildsmith (b. 1930) is an English painter and illustrator of children’s books who is known for his charming animals.
