A unique and very rare heavy crackled glass produced by Moe, this pendant lamp is a fine example of Italian glass workmanship and American brass manufacturing for the components. The stem has a solid brass pivot meaning the plate can be mounted to a slanted ceiling if need be and the stem will drop straight down.
It looks impressive on, but also when off you can readily see the crackled effect which is elegant.
The glass sphere measures 10 across and about 1/4 thick with a heavy crackled theme. This allows the light within the sphere to produce a unique pattern of light. The socket is porcelain and a 250 watt bulb can be used and is capable of chandelier style output in LED or florescent bulbs are used.
The drop measure is 6 thus with the globe 16 in total. Signed to the plate by Moe Lighting.
Produced circa 1960. One owner. Wiring in excellent condition and ready to hang. Globe is in excellent condition, no knicks or fractures. Plate shows age, see pictures.
