This is a Tamron Adaptall 2 manual focus lens with a Nikon F mount. It's a bright, wide-angle prime lens.
Specifically, it's a Tamron 28mm f2.5 (02B).
Visually, the lens is clean, though some dust is visible when illuminated with an LED light.
The focusing ring and aperture blades are in good working order.
It functioned normally on a digital SLR camera during testing. The minimum focusing distance is 0.25m, which is convenient. It produces a nice bokeh at wide open aperture. On an APS-C sensor, it provides a standard field of view. While manual focusing is required, techniques like stopping down for pan-focus make it user-friendly.
It's compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around.
