He later returned to Japan to re-examine his own culture through the lens of contemporary jewelry design. In 2015, Shigenaga teamed up with creative director Wataru Shimosato to launch his eponymous brand, Kei Shigenaga. Based in Tokyo, Kei Shigenaga jewelry is handcrafted in the atelier using the finest materials.
