Men’s vintage wool maxi coat / overcoat / topcoat. Heatherglen wool, made for Metzger Bros. / Metzger’s Mobile, ALA. ACWA Union (Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America). 1940s-1950s. Single breast three-button. Brown, gray, black, and cream patterned tweed with purple satiny upper lining. Adjustable 2-button cuff. Hand pockets. Rear vent. Small hole on left side of jacket (pictured). Measurements: chest: about 22” across (44-45”), sleeve shoulder to cuff: about 25”, length: about 44” from collar to hem (back). Stylish and polished.
