An intricately painted, fine authentic Russian lacquer brooch featuring an idyllic scene of a young woman and her pet lamb. High quality and exceptionally rendered, this brooch is hallmarked with the village of origin on the back side. Fastens with a simple pin backing and in lovely condition- the front side is perfect and there are two tiny chips on the back side and a couple around the edge that have been filled in with color. Measures 2 across.
