This lovely antique teapot shows detailed craftsmanship. Over 100 years old it surely has seen many pots of tea or coffee. This has been used and shows wear on the handle where some of the gold trim has been worn away by hands pouring cups of tea or coffee. In good used vintage condition, no major chips, cracks or repairs. The metal (which I believe is nickel plated) is patinaed. The lid hinge is in great condition. Gold loss/fading in a few places and some paint loss. Clearly stamped under the handle base, "No. 37, Alexandra Pottery, Manning Bowman, Burslem England"Please view all images.
