The label inside confirms manufacture under contract W-669-qm-23025.Patches and Insignia:13th Air Force (left shoulder) – Known as the "Jungle Air Force," active in the Pacific Theater.Pacific Air Forces (right shoulder) – Indicates service in the South West Pacific or Pacific Ocean Areas.Mechanics Trade Patch (left chest) – Yellow embroidered gear and wing insignia, indicating an Army Air Forces mechanic.Corporal Rank Chevrons (both sleeves) – Double-chevron signifies the rank of Corporal.Service Stripes (left cuff) – Four gold bars represent 2 years of overseas service each (totaling 8 years).Honorable Discharge “Ruptured Duck” Patch – Worn above the right chest pocket to show the veteran was honorably discharged.Features:Heavy brass eagle buttons with high reliefFour front pockets (two chest, two waist)Fully intact lining and stitchingSize: 38R (Regular fit)Condition:Very good vintage condition: Small dime-sized spot of discoloration inside one pocket.
