This is an unusually beautiful brown fedora from the 1940s'. The crown is creatively split in two and then sewn together by a brown grosgrain band. The crown is surrounded by a wide grosgrain band that ends in a bow at the back. There is brown veiling surrounding the crown as well. The most stunning feature of the hat is the large feather "butterfly" at the front...it even has 2 antennae!The inside band has an imprint stating: BEST & CO, FIFTH AVE., NYThere is a size label stating:ESPECIALLY DESIGNED TO FIT 22 1/2
