A very stunning art glass crystal sculpture by Mats Jonasson signature collection depicting a great horned owl. This piece is numbered 2500. Has the original Hans Johannon made in Sweden label. Very light Surface wear. Measures 6.5 inches high, 6 inches wide. Note Mats Johasson is the master of details inspired by nature around him. He has opened his mind to create his distinctive masterpieces in the finest crystal. He started as an apprentice engraver at the glassworks in 1959. Over the next few decades he worked with many of the most respected, contemporary glass artists in Sweden. During this period he developed that natural style of his which he's since perfected. Nowadays this son of the glassworks is represented all over the world. His pieces are prized for their clarity, artistic detail and unique form. Non smoking pet free home.
