Strike-a-light/possibles bag made with replica trade beads on genuine handmade brain tan leather. Brain tan leather is old school survival food--if you're starving, you can eat this and survive.

I used replica trade beads made exactly as trade beads used in trade to Indigenous people around the world. Beaded onto leather using faux sinew and lazy stitch technique, which is halfway through the leather--no stitches show on the inside leather. Museum replica quality. Wet twisted fringing.

My beadwork is made to be used and to last. Every third to fourth bead is stitched down, or invisibly tacked down.

Leather is hand made brain tan and smoked. This means the leather naturally smells like smoked bacon. Recommend to keep it away from dogs as a bracelet I made/gifted was eaten by a dog.

Note--this item wasn't made by Native American but by myself. I have been commissioned to make replica beaded braintan leather for Fort Vasquez Museum.

Condition new.

Cord is made of twisted cotton.
