Here is a vintage jointed wood recipe file box absolutely stuffed with handwritten and clipped recipes . It measures about 5.75 inches wide, 3.25 inches front to back, and 4 inches tall. There is a sticker on the bottom that reads: Norcrest Crafted in Japan. The recipes inside are handwritten on cards, cut out and pasted on cards, just cut out, typed on cards, and written on random pieces of paper.
This box opens and closes smoothly. It has some water spots in the finish. The recipes have varying amounts of age yellowing, staining, and wear.
