Here is a beautiful periwinkle vase, marked Hinode Japan on the bottom. It is periwinkle blue with raised moriage design throughout. It has foo dog
type handles and an orange lusterware interior.
The mortgage design pictures an island, and white blushing trees, a pagoda on stilts, and birds flying through the sky, the scenery on the front extends around to both sides, and there is another island and some trees on the back.
All of the decoration is raised moriage and everything about the vase is in perfect condition.
Measurements are 7 1/2 high , 4 1/2 wide and 2 1/2 depth.
It's marked the Hinode Japan on the bottom, the Hinode company began operating out of the Nori take Chikaramachi factory in the 1940's but was not division of Noritake
