Each Game Boy is stripped down to its component parts, cleaned, and inspected for any faulty or heavily worn components. If any are found, they are replaced. The end result is an authentic look and feel, with all the attention to detail you would expect had Nintendo offered a backlit Game Boy back in 1996.
