This is a metal safety rail purchased thru a medical supply house . I have 2 of these. One is out of the box. The locking mechanism requires a twist and slight pull on both sides. My child never once was able to opened it. No worry about her falling out of the top bunk or escaping during the night.
We used it for my child’s bunk bed in the Rv while on vacations. It is very heavy duty. Original price was over 100 as it’s considered a medical device. It folds down both ways and has the fabric organizer pouch that’s machine washable. Pockets on both sides. We filled inside pockets with her toys/ books. Outside pockets had diapers/ wipes etc. Works on any bed too for kids or adults.
